How to WebDav to your D2L Course site.

WebDav allows you to drag and drop files into your D2L files folder. You can also create additional folders. You can also quickly delete everything...so use with care.

1. Login into your course

2. Click on "Edit Course"

3. Click on "Files"...you will see something similar to this:

4. The path shown, "/content/enforced/12825-saisp07/"  will be different for your course, but the path in the position indicated within your course is the one you must use.

5. Create a URL using the path found in 4. above; in this case the URL should be http://elearndav.etsu.edu:80/content/enforced/12825-saisp07/

6. Open Internet Explorer; select file/open, and you will see

7. Enter the URL as indicated in 5. for your course; make sure you select "Open as a Web Folder"

8 Authenticate and you are into your D2L Course folders.

9. Sometimes it is easier to the Windows Network Place to set up WebDav to your D2L Course files. Just use the URL for your course files as explained above to set up your Network Place.
